Faith Kitchen is a connectional ministry between Faith United Methodist Church in North Canton and Crystal Park United Methodist Church in Canton.  We serve the people of the community on the last Saturday of each month at Crystal Park UMC located at 2221 Mahoning Rd NE, Canton, Ohio.  We provide a time of worship, a hot lunch, clothing, household goods and groceries.  The Faith Kitchen is committed to serving our brothers and sisters in Christ.  It is our mission to be God's hands in our community.

We are also trying to respond to the needs of our community by giving school supplies to area children in August.  Winter apparel such as coats, hats, gloves and blankets are distributed in October and November.

Many people in our church and community are involved in this ministry and we welcome newcomers!

Mission: To provide a monthly worship service followed by a meal, clothing distribution, and grocery distribution for persons in an economically depressed area of Stark County on the last Saturday of each month. 

Needs of Program:

Volunteers:  We have 25 to 30 regulars, plus an additional 20 to 30 volunteers are needed to help with the meal preparation/serving and grocery distribution   Strong persons to carry bags and help with the cleanup are much needed.

Donations: Grocery donations can be placed in the red �Faith Kitchen� barrel located in the Gallery.  Clothing donations can be placed on the table beside the red barrel in the gallery.  Financial donations are made to Faith UMC with checks marked "Faith Kitchen".  Contributions are used to buy goods from food banks and other agencies at reduced cost.
