College Scholarships

The North Canton Ministerial Association is once again pleased to offer a $500 minimum (non-renewable) scholarship to a graduating high school senior.  To qualify for the scholarship, the student must attend one of the North Canton Ministerial Association member churches.  2010 Guidelines and Application

Each year Faith UMC is pleased to provide a number of college scholarships to its youth.  Most of the scholarships are for graduating seniors who will be college freshmen in the fall.  There is one scholarship available for graduate study.  The Scholarship Task Group reviews all applications and selects the winners. The applications will be posted here when available in the spring.

In addition to scholarships awarded from the general scholarship fund, scholarships are given in honor of the following people:

  • Greg and Phoebe Fuller
  • Marty Miller
  • Beverly Hiestand
  • Mark Tobais
  • Dave Oby
  • Adrienne Bennett

Students receiving scholarships in 2009 include Sarah Maj, Kevin Crowl, Robert Warburton, Blake Buletko, Anna Brisbane, Megan Wise, Amy Snyder, Alex Loy, Allison Arnold, Lisa Werwinski, Kelli Miller, Rebecca Hendricks, Andrew Arnold, Sarah Snyder, Kim Nelson, Mike Wiley and Jessica Meleg.

The Barbara Bailey Memorial Camp Scholarship also provided funds for six of our youth to attend summer camp.
