Prayer at Faith

Faith has many resources and opportunities available for you to be in prayer.

  • Each Tuesday an updated Prayer List for the church is available at the Information Center in the Gathering Area. 
  • The Upper Room Devotional Booklet (a United Methodist publication) is available at the Information Center in the Gathering Area or on-line at www.upperroom.org/Devotional/ .
  • Join The Phone Prayer Chain by calling the church office, 330.499.6040 who will forward your messsage to the appropriate person(s).  This group prays for immediate prayer needs called in to the church office.
  • The Men's Prayer Group meets every Tuesday morning at 6:00 a.m. in the Upper Room behind the Sanctuary Balcony.
  • The Faith Prayer Shawl Ministry meets at 2:00 pm in the Parlor on the first Thursday of the month.
  • Faith UMC Prayer Ministry has many resources available to assist you in your prayer life.  They are located in the Information Center in the Gathering Area and on the Literature Racks in the Gathering Area and the Youth Hallway.  For a further listing of these publications additional links, refer to the Prayer Resources page.
  • Faith Chapel is available most days to come to pray.  Please inquire at the Church Office for its availabillity.
  • The Faith Prayer Room is located in Room 5.  You may desire a more intimate, peaceful place to pray or you may want to make use of the many resources available.  Please respect that these resources must remain in The Prayer Room so all may benefit from them.   Please note the hours this room is available for use as it is shared with other ministry groups throughout the week.
