"Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Prayer is an active ministry at Faith Church. Prayer acknowledges that God is present with us at all times and in all places. The Prayer Ministry of Faith Church intentionally seeks God's will and seeks to promote the power of prayer in our congregation. Prayer connects us to God and one to another. When we spend time speaking and listening to God, our Creator, we open up the possibilities of direction, understanding and healing. Prayer connects us one to another as we intercede for each other, our community and our world. Prayer becomes active through our acts of justice and compassion. We are committed to helping people be a people of prayer through the many opportunities and educational resources made available on our web site, in our prayer room as well as the reading/teaching material which can be found on the literature racks in the Gathering Area and Youth Hallway. It is our hope that you will personally experience, be renewed, be strengthened and be transformed through the power of prayer.
